If that’s your only concern I don’t think you should come here tbh...

It is a party school with the frats and the bars that are close to the campus. But I agree with the user above that if that is your main priority, then you shouldn't come here.

To be honest you can kinda just walk around the housing streets and find parties on weekends, both by frats and regular students, and some are easy to just walk in and meet people.

But if you want to be consistently at the bigger parties and not just crashing random house/apt parties, rush a frat.

IMO, this is pretty much a dream school. The academics are amazing and it is ranked as one of the best universities in the world. Then, its located in the best part of L.A. It borders Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Santa Monica. It is literally 5 miles from the ocean. The village where the school is located is Westwood. It has shops, restaurants, bars and major movie theaters where Red Carpet premieres occur. Students walk around Westwood and have everything a college town could offer, but more. The sorority houses are beautiful mansions. The frat houses are huge, but dirty from constant parties. So, yes, in a sense it is an ultimate party school. However, to get into UCLA, you have to be an incredible student. It is VERY difficult to get in. There are many drunken tail gate parties at the Rose Bowl, and at apartments and frats all around campus. However, don't let that deceive you. This is a school where the student study and work very hard. Partying is a way to blow off steam, but it can't be a constant way of life. The Greek system at UCLA is very fun and does involve lots of great parties.

NO!!!!!!!!!!! There are no bars and the frats essentially throw on Thuradays . Don’t come here if you actually want to have fun lol
