how hard to get into parties?
by: transferMe and my gf are transferring to UCLA this Fall and rushing greek(we're turning 19 next year). We wanna see how parties are at UCLA, how hard would it be for us to walk into one? My gf is smoking hot, but would bringing a friend or 2 of hers help? We wanna bring drinks and see how UCLA throws down before committing and we've heard its easier than USC parties to get into

Little late, but #4 is correct. Any house throwing a decent party will have a guest list for guys at this point. Your girl and all her friends will be let through the door as long as they are willing to abandon you, but if you want to get in you have a know a brother to write you down as a guest at least a day before. Bringing alcohol will not help you, it will get you bounced before you get up the stairs.
It perpetuates the stereotype that frats are super exclusive, but it's a risk thing. The people who cause the most damage are the guys not in houses, so when you get here either rush or become close friends with guys in houses.
