frat rush v seat rush
by: TransferIt seems like sororities are more welcoming to transfers. Why is that? Is it really harder to get a bid at a fraternity as a sophomore than it is to get one at a sorority?

But seriously just rush and find out. There's 20+ fraternities and no rules against accepting transfers. The transfer experience with rushing is that you might find yourself older and it harder to connect with your pledge class, and you might have to be a little more sociable because some houses are less interested in taking in and investing in someone who will be there not as long and therefore pay less dues.
