I rushed, but didn't pledge. I think I will probably rush again next year as a sophmore. I think the OPs opinion is what PNMs mostly thought, just from our conversations. Also, Pi Phi was definitely my favorite after the top four.

I cant believe how catty this site is! I literally had to drop out due to a family emergency, but I think there were a lot of great houses, and this site just makes the sororities look like they hate each other and compete for "rankings" that aren't even real!

Totally unbiased opinion after two days of rush: (and it was an un-expected surprise to not be dropped by any houses after day two) Alpha Phi and Dg did seem the prettiest, fun, best sisterhoods. This was just my own rush impression. Kappa and Theta were also considered "top" I really think girls should go where they feel wanted and the most connected.

Kappa and Theta kinda sucked this year. Their pledges aren't hot.

I rushed, but dropped because I didn't end up with any houses I really wanted at pref. I think I just wasn't prepared for what rush is like, and I want to give it another try. I agree with the OP- Alpha Phi and Delta Gamma were the houses I liked the most. Do they participate in COB in an informal way, or should I wait until the fall to try again? Also, is it much harder to rush as a sophmore?

Alpha Phi and DG won't have COB. You should try rush again as a sophmore if you still want to be in a sorority, but it will be somewhat harder to get a top house, so keep an open mind.
