i been studying english for some time but need some clarification
2 verbs in the past, but one of them continues to the present :
I had been living in England before the rent prices went up.
Meaning : I lived in England before rent prices went up, but I still live there even after prices went up.
I had lived in England before rent prices went up.
Meaning : I lived there before prices went up, and I don't live there anymore.
Am I right?
