someone pls respond lol

Hi! I am an incoming junior transfer student from a California community college and I have always wanted to join a sorority ever since I was a little girl. Can anyone give me their advice on if I have a chance to get a bid from a sorority if I'm a junior? I was hoping so because UCLA is a junior-level only transfer school but I also know at other schools some of the first girls they drop are juniors unless you're drop dead gorgeous-- so I'm worried. If anyone can leave me some (nice) advice or their opinion that would be greatly appreciated!!

Ucla has an upperclassmen quota where 1/3 of the incoming pledge class has to be upperclassmen (sophomores, juniors, junior transfers, and seniors). You'll have lots of options just keep your mind open! It wouldn't hurt to have a few letters of rec either. Not necessary but definitely will help us remember you!

Agree w/ above and most important key is keeping an open mind. There are awesome girls in every house, regardless of what is said here on GR.

I rushed as a junior transfer this past year. Your chances will be just fine. It is very normal to rush as a junior transfer here and there is a pretty significant (about 8-10) amount of junior transfers in each pledge class.
