2017 fraternity and sorority rankings
by: 2017 Ranks
Here are the honest rankings seen by actual Greek life members. Not just some randoms on the internet. Overall those looking to join greek life should find a house they fit well in.
Fraternities:
1. Top Tier (hardest to get into, lots of history on campus, events with top sororities):
SAE, Sigma Chi, ZBT, Sig Ep
2. Upper Middle (still selective, been around a while, events with upper mid and mid sororities with occasional events with top houses):
Beta, Lambda, Phi Psi, Sig Nu
3. Middle (easier to get a bid, less campus presence, events with mid to lower sororities with occasional upper mid events):
AEPi, PiKapp (rebuilding after reduced pledge classes last year cause they almost merged with another house), Theta Xi, Sig Pi
4 Lower Mod (even easier to get a bid, events with lower sororities):
DTD, Theta Chi
5. Bottom (instant bids, events with bottom or non pan hel houses):
TDX, Phi Delt, Triangle, Kappa Sigma, DSP
Sororities: Tier description same as fraternities
1. Top Tier:
KKG, Theta, APhi
2. Upper Mid:
DG, Chi O, Pi Phi, G Phi
3. Mid:
ADPi, KD
4. Lower Mid:
AXO
5. Bottom:
AGD, Phi Sigma Rho (affiliate), Alpha Delta Chi (affiliate)
Note that tri delt was shut down but was formerly in this Tier.

This must be a joke!. Sig ep is considered the BOTTOM of the middle tier, ZBT is hanging on to middle tier, SAE and SX are resting on their past and sit at the BOTTOM of the top tier, both these houses will be middle tier by next year. Lambda Chi is the CONSENSUS #1 fraternity at UCLA and has been for at least two years, Lambda keeps pulling the #1 PC and now there is a HUGE gap between them and SAE/SX. Lambda Chi should actually be the only fraternity considred in the top tier.

Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity
Meeting of the National Board of Directors: April 8 and 9, 2016
Foundation President Hammond provided a report from the North American Interfraternity Council’s (NIC) Alcohol Commission. The Board discussed the report and how substance-free policy would best be implemented and enforced. Warren confirmed that discussions will continue and a suggested plan of action for fraternity-wide substance-free facilities adoption and budget implications will be presented at the fall meeting.

Big time, they're easily upper mid now. Kinda impressive how fast they did it too...after this fall they'll probably be moving into top tbh if not after winter. What I've noticed is that people on here try to diminish them constantly cause they're threatened by them or something
