Alpha Xi Delta has patiently waited to recolonize their Alpha Xi chapter here at UCLA. They were chosen during 2012 as part of a stack (with AGD) to recolonize, and AXiD's original recolonization date was set for Fall 2016. They instead deferred recolonization to allow current sorority groups to reach chapter total. I read here on greekrank our panhel has to vote soon on whether AXiD can still return in Fall 2018; with the recent exit of Tri Delta it may be possible AXiD will return.

AXiD didn't choose to defer. Panhel has to vote for a chapter to recolonize at UCLA to decide if we're ready for another sorority on the row. There were two different votes to decide and both times the majority vote was no because more than one chapter was well below total.

Alpha Xi Delta has waited very patiently to come here since being chosen to stack as a colony by the vote of panhel back in 2012. AXiD also set-up social media pages during 2015-16 school year to prepare students/faculty for a panhel-voted-upon Fall 2016 AXiD colonization process (their AXiD UCLA social media pages are currently in dormancy). During the past decade there have been other schools with stacked expansions, voted favorably upon by their respective panhel groups, whose colonies have had to wait to come to campus for various reasons. If AXiD is still willing to come here, they have already been properly chosen and ought not be denied.
