why don't frats/sororitys do relay for life that much?

Like Dance Marathon is completely Greek life dominated, but there's like no houses in relay for life. I noticed this the other day and was curious why.

This year turnout for relay for life was less in general. Could be due to many factors including rain, it was scheduled later in the quarter, a lot of times houses rally for a member or alumni recently affected by cancer, they didn't sell the event well this year

Also possible philanthropy as a whole has dropped because of turnover in the Greek life office. Greek orgs used to be required to do a lot more things through for SOE
