what caused σαε,σχ,σφε to spiral downward

Curious? What caused former " top fraternities" ΣΑΕ,ΣΧ and ΣΦΕ to spiral downward and ΛΧΑ and ΖΒΤ to replace them in the top spot?

It's been a slow process of ΣΑΕ,ΣΧ and ΣΦΕ getting some really questionable PC and the fact that ΛΧΑ and ZBT have been getting the top consensus PC the past 2 years. ΛΧΑ and ΖΒΤ have leapfrogged ΣΑΕ,ΣΧ and ΣΦΕ into the #1 and #2 position because of this.

They got complacent, while Lambda Chi Alpha and ZBT were rising and getting more exclusive, bidding only the highest quality guys which made them leap frog SAE,SX and SIG EP

A couple of bad PC year after year will do that to you. Lambda Chi and ZBT PC got better and better and SAE,SX, and Sig Ep got worse and worse especially Sig Ep that last PC I mean wtf

SigEp: troubles because of Kanye party and accusations of racism, because of party frat boy rep, because of sanctions from nationals, because of dry house policy to be enforced. Also rent is damn high they have to bid a lot of marginal kids to make money.

Those 3 fraternities got complacent and ZBT and Lambda Chi moved ahead of them. It's sad how they are coming on GR trying to argue something that is universally accepted

my sisters and I prefer Lambda Chi and ZBT over SX,SAE and Sig Ep I know our jr and sr still prefer SAE,SX,SIG EP but their frosh and Soph are just wack. Compared to Lambda Chi and ZBT

It was a combination of Lambda Chi and ZBT pulling the best PC the past 2 years and the slow steady decline in the desirability of SAE,SX and Sig Ep

Foundation President Hammond provided a report from the North American Interfraternity Council’s (NIC) Alcohol Commission. The Board discussed the report and how substance-free policy would best be implemented and enforced. Warren confirmed that discussions will continue and a suggested plan of action for fraternity-wide substance-free facilities adoption and budget implications will be presented at the fall meeting.
