what are the real sorority rankings here?
by: HaylieWhat are the real sorority rankings here? Top tier? Mid Tier? Bottom Tier?

honestly, there are no top middle or bottom tiers. each sisterhood has something different to offer. dont listen to the rankings because honestly each sorority is pretty much the same. All have an amazing sisterhood to offer. find the place where you fit best! its about the friends and sisters you find, not the "ranking" of the sorority.

TOP: pros and cons
Kappa (very attractive PC11 but no sisterhood), Theta (fun but on the decline after PC11), APhi ("hot blondes" but very superficial), ChiO (chill/involved but have some not so hot girls), DG (seems a little wild)
Mid:
GPhi, PiPhi, ADPi
Bottom:
KD, AChiO, DDD

This isn't USC Panhellenic. Look at USC's AXO pics and then compare them to the "top tier" houses at UCLA. Pretty much the same.
If you decide to rush, you should choose a house based on personality, because the "hotness" (or lack thereof) is the same between all of the houses.
Again, this isn't USC, where there's a clearer distinction.

Honestly, you'll be able to tell what the better houses are during recruitment - the biggest differentiator is the quality of conversations, and you'll get that vibe right away. The rankings above aren't too different from each other or my own opinion, but it'd be a mistake to pick a "higher-ranked" chapter over a house you like better during recruitment.
UCLA is about hard-working, smart kids who are going to a top state school. You get a fair amount of awkward kids. But you also get a lot of amazing women, and they are all over the Greek system.
Make sure to get into deeper conversations, and make it clear what you are looking for in your college experience and your sorority. Every sorority has a variety of women (from partyiers to non-drinkers, from athletes to engineers, etc.), but some chapters are somewhat more supportive of certain lifestyle choices than others.

This is 100 percent correct. the top fraternities do events with A Phi, Theta, Kappa, DG, Chi O, Pi Phi, and occasionally G Phi.
