question pledge quarter

by:

Look, first off I get the reasoning behind the pledge quarter. Its supposed to be a period of learning about the fraternity, developing relations with others in the pledge class, all through ways of unique bonding methods. I fully understand the reasoning behind this and find it quite amusing and an experience one would never get otherwise. Although I am all for it, how does the pledge process differ for someone if a pledge doesn't drink? I was just curious as I am steadfast on not drinking and wanted to know if its a big deal or if there is alternative "bonding methods" that would take place.

Not a big deal. Drinking is definitely encouraged for most houses but if you choose to not drink then whatever house you rush should respect that. If not then it's probably not the house for you
