difference between kkg and aphi

what are the girls like in each house? what frats do they have events with? stereotypes?
i am asking as an incoming freshman since during rush all the girls are obligated to be nice to make their houses seem more attractive. this is just background research to know how others perceive them to be

Kappa is more politically correct in their recruitment conversation. Alpha Phi is more real. Both get tons of frat invites and have beautiful women. Alpha Phi is more involved on campus with several cheerleader/song girls - for instance.

Don't limit yourself to these two. They have the highest rush return stats - meaning they are the most selective sororities.

There are a lot of great groups at UCLA. Give all of them a chance. You might surprise yourself which group you pledge in the end.

No sorority really honors legacies at UCLA. So if you want to wear your mommies pin go somewhere else!

this is inaccurate. a lot of sororities have to take a minimum percentage of their legacies that come through (generally around 25 - 50%), with the highest percenatage being theta, who has to take 100% legacies. so in registration, if 10 girls register as Alpha Alpha Alpha legacies, then Alpha Alpha Alpha will generally have to take 3 - 5 of those girls minimum, and if they're having issues with their nationals, they'll probably take more to make their nationals happier.

The fact is that every sorority has more legacies rushing then they have spots for. Both Kappa and APhi, which are the top 2 rushing houses, can not possibly take all their legacies who rush.

Kappa and APhi do their own thing and take the number of new members that they want. Taking a full max quota is not mandatory. They took one less than quota in formal rush. lol

Both may have not taken quota, but they both had pnm"s drop . That is not a good sign for either house.

They are the top two groups but give every group a chance.

In 3rd spot is DG, theta rushes #4.

So many others are good too.
