zta v.s. sigma

...but to actually address this post's topic..

i'd say zta is defiantly not awk as they were two years ago and their girls are a lot prettier and cooler then they used to be, but zta top tier???? in their dreams lol
As for sigma id say they didn't really get that great of a pledge class and I agree with the first person's comment, most of the girls are hispanic, which is fine if thats how u roll.. but yeah..

People are saying zeta is going up because they were considered bottom tier until recently when they have improved and moved to middle. If they keep up what they are doing they could easily take sigma kappas place

In my opinion (I'm currently a senior in the greek system at CSUF)
ZTA was in the bottom tier with DZ just bc they had a cruddy house with awkward girls. I've seen and heard that they've improved since my freshman year and I'm actually really close friends with a couple of their older girls. For the most part I think ZTA is the sorority that improves every year, unlike some other sororities that cling on to their old "top house" title.

^ I agree with the person above me. Zta is an extremely strong sorority when it come to just nationally, which is something I didn't know about until I had been in the greek system for a year (initiated into another sorority at CSUF). Although Im in love with the sorority I'm in, I believe having a strong nationals helps any chapter a lot, especially when it comes to the whole social networking aspect of sororities. Zta has one of the best houses mainly bc they have such a strong nationals. Stronger nationals=more money for chapters.

ZTA is like a safe sorority..

Going into recruitment this year a lot of girls i talked to before hand told me that the Sigma's were a better sorority then the ZTA and from the first day of rush I felt like that was a true statement. However, on the second day I was asked back to both ZTA and Sigma (and AXO & Gamma). On the second day I really ended up liking all of the girls and really considered dropping other top houses for ZTA. Out of all the houses I went to ZTA had the most "real" environment where I felt like everyone was acting natural and wasn't faking anything. Plus there is absolutely no doubt that ZTA has a better house then Sigma, their house may even be better then some of the top houses. When I went to rank the second time I dropped AXO and Sigma and the next day prefed Gamma and ZTA, it was a tough call, but at the end of the day I chose ZTA bc they had the most genuine and fun girls. I'm so happy with my decision and I hope others will listen to my opinion. Only the Best get Crowned!!((:

I don't think it's far to compare any of these sororities bc they are all equal! It's not a competition and no house is better then any another house! I have nothing against ZTA or any other sorority but in all honesty i think it's pathetic that people are commenting with these stupid judgmental attitudes. It's as if none of you guys graduated high school. Sigma has an AMAZING sisterhood and to say any other house is better than them is not only unfair but just stupid. Next year at recruitment we'll show you up by stealing ALL of your rush crushes and we will prove that no one can talk badly about another sorority and then get away with it.

YES SHE IS. and she also ran recruitment this year. and on top of that for the past couple of years majority of the EC board members of the honors society for greek students were ZTAs. so everyone who talks bad on ZTA can suck it. zetas rule this ish

ZTA is easily taking AXO's top house spot this year especially after recruitment. talk to a ZTA new member then an AXO new member, you will then see why.

The truth is the only reason people still rank ZTA lower then Sk is bc top houses like AXO are afraid that sororities like ZTA, who are actually working hard to get their ish together, are going to steel their spot. Truth be told, once ZTA steals Sk's spot they will be in the running for a "top house" title.
