Dropped before formal interviews?

is it normal for sororities to drop you during COB before the more “formal” rounds even start? And do they tell you if you were dropped?

I think most or all of the sororities should’ve told you when they’re switching over to invite-only meetings. Not sure if it’s normal to be dropped when the meetings were still open to everyone. I believe the chapters will let you know if they choose to drop you!
