Virtual Recruitment Guide

by: recruitment

Hi I was a recruitment guide last year, and now there are none this year due to recruitment being virtual. If you don’t know what a recruitment guide is, they basically act as your mentor. To any young women that are going through recruitment, I highly advise you take this site with a grain of salt. Actually, I advise you to stay off this site at all costs, just because it’s a bunch of chapters bagging on each other. I’m so sorry you have to see that, and I promise not everyone in Greek Life is like this. There are so many girls that support one another in Panhellenic, and unfortunately you see the toxic/jealous/bringing other women down side of it on this site. The real Panhellenic support outside of this site outweighs the toxicity that you see on this site. Don’t let what you see on here influence any type of connection you may have with a sorority. If you feel a strong connection with a certain chapter, then follow your heart with them. Please don’t ask your recruitment questions on here, it’s best if you search @panhellenic.csuf on ig and shoot them a dm.

The anonymous aspect helps some girls’ anxiety when asking questions in my opinion. And honestly the unfiltered answers on here are more useful than the vague answers we get from the instagrams sometimes

I understand what your getting at, however, I don’t want them to completely rely on this site about what sorority they should be in. I’m just in mama bear mode, and I want the best for them.

Yeah i get where you're coming from! I don't think any pnms should listen to anyone trying to tear down a chapter that they might like either! I meant other questions that might be frowned upon like asking for specifics about chapter quotas, dues, formal dates, frat parties, etc. (Bc lets be real, we were all curious at one point but that doesn't necessarily mean that we wanted to rush for the wrong reasons!)
