So to be clear...
by: Wait.Technically, we could be spending these next two whole months talking to women from a few sororities and end up not being offered a bid by the end of it? Is there a point where girls are let go from the process or something if certain sororities don’t want them?
#2by: Real
If you think it would be a waste of 2 months then maybe you’re not even meant to be in a sorority and are joining for the wrong reasons. It’s supposed to be an experience and it sounds like you’re just doing it to end up in a house - when in reality it should be deeper than that.

Even if recruitment was formal, there is still a chance you won’t get a bid. This time around I see it as extremely special because you get two different opportunities. You can do it now or later. If you choose spring just know that there is still a chance we might be virtual with the rate of how things are going. The point of joining a sorority is not just to join a house. It’s to be part of a sisterhood, Make a difference, leadership opportunities, etc.

Realistically, no PNM’s should have a “favorite house” right now because you haven’t had the chance to really interact with them. This tells me that you think you know where you belong, solely based off of factors that aren’t actually important - another red flag. Good luck rushing!

would it be better to just wait until formal recruitment for the full experience and to not waste 2 months? :/
