Will GPA Consideration Still Be Strict?

I understand that usually the minimum GPA needed to even rush is 2.5, but I also know that grades are a big deal and chapters will cut girls anyway even if they meet the minimum requirement to rush, but their GPA is still considered low. Will this still be the case for Fall COB or will chapters be less selective since a lot of girls are waiting until formal recruitment to rush?
For context: I have a 2.9 GPA (ik it’s not that great i’m working on it). Will this cause me to get cut almost immediately or?

GPA is pretty important To all chapters - some more than others. But I think if you can own up to your GPA and express you’re dedication toward improvement while also being fit for whatever house you’re talking to - you won’t get immediately kicked! 2.9 isn’t that bad anyways for a transfer, keep working hard and good things will come your way
