fraternity spring rush
by: FreshieI was thinking about rushing PIKE or Phi Sig Spring 2014 and I was wondering your opinions on both? How much do they cost to be in?

If your going to rush and those are your two choices I'd say go Pike. Pike is going very strong right now. The easiest way to spot the health of a fraternity is to look at the size of its membership and the quality of the guys in it. Pikes membership is pretty impressive having leaders from multiple organizations on its roster. If your looking to party for a bit you may want to look at a fraternity with a house. However from what I understand Pike will have one soon.

It's whatever you feel most comfortable in. Phi Sigma Kappa is a smaller house but if you're looking for brotherhood it's where to go. Pi Kappa Alpha is newer to campus and are excited to be there but since they are so big you don't know everyone and they form cliques. Personally I would chose Phisig but in the end its what you are looking for in a fraternity that will be the best choice for you! I would recommend talking to the guys in each chapter to see where you can picture yourself going. Regardless being Greek is awesome. Best of luck on your choice.

If you're going to rush Phi Sig or PIKE I recommend Phi Sig. PIKE has a ridiculous amount of guys they don't even know each, poor brotherhood and pretty expensive because they are trying to get a house which they won't. Phi Sig on the other hand is one of the smaller fraternities but have the strongest brotherhood. Clean house with a pool and throw good parties. Very respectful nice guys that are not your typical douche frat guys. Its also not expensive. So yea i would suggest Phi Sig over PIKE.
