sorority life and living far from campus

I have long days on campus so it’s nice to always have a sorority house to go to (napping at the house instead of my car = a commuters dream) and sisters to hangout with on campus. Before joining, I found it really difficult to feel connected to CSUF or involved on campus and that completely changed once I joined a sorority. That being said, I’m always in Fullerton now due to school, work, and sorority life and don’t spend that much time at home. However, my sorority became my home away from home (as cliche as it sounds). I always have a place to crash or somewhere to go if it’s a busy weekend with events or even during finals week when it’s more convinient to be near campus.
Transfers rush all the time, go for it! (: I’m not a transfer student but I rushed in my junior year it wasn’t too late for me to rush.

^ She hit every point I wanted to make! I commuted my first semester and I didn't like it because I felt like I missed out on a lot of sorority stuff and ultimately moved out. However, having a sorority house to go to during the day / crash at sometimes at night made commuting really helpful! I transferred as a Junior and got into the house of my dreams so dont worry too much about transferring!
