I laughed when a PIKE put themselves first on the ranking list. I remember talking to a PIKE asking him about one of my homies (who is also a PIKE)...the guy was like...who's that? and then I told him another homie (who is also a PIKE) and he was like "nope dont know who that is either..." great brotherhood guys.

I agree, except I would switch PiKapp & PIKE simply because PiKapp has a house and PIKE does not. Having a house has a huge impact on your experience in Greek life, and without a house, like PIKE, you are missing a CRUCIAL aspect of fraternity life. That being said the top 4 houses all have houses, and would be my only considerations when rushing.

Top tier
Phi Tau- some good looking some average, best and most fun guys to party with
Pikap- good looking and sporty but most can be very douchey in social settings
Middle tier
Pike- pride themselves on being gentlemen but can be shady, clean cut style
Dchi- very full of themselves, hot pledge class, can be creepy
Bottom tier
Sigma Nu- nerdy but nice guys
Phi Sig- known as stoners and out there

1) PiKapp-everyone wants to be a pikapp, sorry but thats just the way it is. They throw some of the best parties and have the best and funnest guys. They may not have the best pledge class this year, but they are still #1
2) DChi- passed phi tau this year just cause they have the best pledge class by far. Great house and (as of now) alot of better looking guys, but you can still spot the creeps
3) Phi Tau- always had the most parties, but are still the sloppiest of all the frats, but you cant doubt they know how to have fun.
4) Pike- all the sporty, pretty guys, which could be your thing. Can make really good guy friends there, but you just can not put them in top tier since they don't have a house
5) SigNu-has some good guys but no one really pays attention
6) PhiSig- didn't even hear of them till recently

You've been in a sorority at CSUF for 3 YEARS, and didn't know about a fraternity on campus? They may have a small house and a small presence compared to the other houses, but to not know that a fraternity existed on campus FOR 3 YEARS is unbelievable. That says a lot about you and your chapter's Greek relations. Whatever sorority you're in must be REALLY shallow and closed-minded, and not open to getting to know other fraternities. One of my first things to do as a pledge was to know all the fraternities and sororities on campus and meet someone from each chapter. I guess your sorority doesn't encourage that, which is sad! :(

I agree, at the moment. But I feel like after this next rush class, dchi will pass phi tau. I've seen them hanging around with a lotttt of cute new guys that are rushing them
