I just joined a sorority and i'm not really feeling the "sisterhood." I haven't really clicked with anyone in my sorority but i dont want to drop either without giving it a chance. How long does it usually take to feel comfortable and click in a sorority?

Okay, so I can only speak for my own experience, but there was definitely a period of time when I had friends but I didn't feel like I had "sisters." It wasn't until I got involved in different Greek life events with my sorority and got my big that everything else clicked into place. Now, I feel that this is my family, that I love my sisters, and I'm very proud to wear my letters for all to see! All in all, you don't have to make a real decision until initation. Cuz once you're initiated...well, you're stuck. XD

Which sorority are you in? I've heard stories of girls not feeling completely comfortable, and not finishing their friends until their third or fourth year.

Remember that it's not the active members full job to make you feel welcome. It's YOUR decision on whether or not you should put yourself out there. Go to as many sisterhood events as you can, reach out to active members to hang out, join a group of sisters to party. You have to put in effort, not just wait along and not "feel the sisterhood"
