spring rush

Is there specific dates? Like is it before the semester starts or just whenever the sorority wants to have events?

Go to panhellenic website & fill out an interest form. sororities will contact you based on your info and if/when they have events.

or you can reach out to each chapters recruitment chair and ask if their having events

yes anyone can get a bid if the chapter likes you and you have what they need- grades, volunteer work, looks ect. each chapter looks for different things. whoever says they won't bid you is lying. Every chapter at this school took at least one junior during formal and several "good" chapters even took seniors. all this info is on panhellenic website too

It starts the week after we get back!! None of the sororities will know who will be spring rushing until the first few days we are back also! As a junior, you're fine!!

You may be surprised that even houses that made quota will have sprung rush due to graduates so don't be discouraged thinking that a lot of houses won't do spring rush. They may however only take a few (10 or so compared to 70 or 80 in fall) Keep all your options open!

Can someone explain how they're going to look at grades during this? Since it's after the semester starts will your grades so far in the spring semester count or will they just be looking at your grades from the fall

Overall GPA. So if fall was your first semester then fall.keep in mind that most houses also check your grades throughout pledging & have their own bar as far as what grades they are looking for, and if your grades fall too low you won't be initiated.
