by: New MemberJust for everyone's information AXiD was VERY selective with recruitment for the new chapter. It is not just "left over"girls, you had to drop formal recruitment by the end of day 2 in order to even be considered... Most girls did not go through formal. We had about 450 girls come through the two week long recruitment and cut it down to about 130 girls for our colonizing class. We are so supportive of the greek community and are hoping to be respected and cheered on to success by others. Thank you to everyone who has been showing us love, it is so appreciated.

And, AXID dropped out of formal recruitment on 2nd day. But that's ok that's how it works when you are trying to colonize. Do your recruitment after formal, get those girls who are still looking. Don't rewrite history. That's how it happened. Doesn't mean you didn't get good group of girls, but yes you also got some who didn't get bids elsewhere. They more you deny the sillier you look. Dear AXiD new member - As a new member of the newest chapter at Tech, you are creating a legacy for generations. If the first thing you're worried about is getting on here to proclaim how selective your colonization was, I worry for your sisters. You have better things to do besides this! If you're hoping to be respected, act in a way that warrants it. Your post is a disservice to the girls who were not selected in addition to your own sisters. Please get your priorities straight and focus on making AXiD the best house possible this year!
