winners and losers
by: BigTimeSo after bid day who, in your opinion, were the big winners, who were losers and who did about how they always do?

It seems it went well for everyone. I'm sure PiPhi, Tri-Delt, Kappa and APhi got the girls from their lists like they always do but it seemed the mid and bottom tiers did well also. I watched a couple of the busses that pulled up to houses that normally have a group of 10-20 girls getting off the busses with tears in their eyes, heads hanging and a "this sucks" look on their face but this year didn't see that at all! I especially watched our "bottom" house have a bus full of girls who got off and seemed super excited, all rushing out and happy.
So excited for our greek system bodes well for everyone! Great recruitment everyone!

Not here to put "top" ranking on APhi I'm not even talking about tiers here dumb dumb, but you and I both know that APhi always gets the girls they want, along with those other houses mentioned, the merits of their sorority are not at question, god your critical reading skills are horrible, are you sure your even in college? Perhaps some type of Music Appreciation major?

I disagree with Kappa.
Kappa has been going downhill every year and their new PC doesn't look that great. I also think Zeta did not do as well. While they got some cute girls, they had really bad return rates.
But I agree with Tri Delt, Pi Phi, and A Phi doing well. I also think AXO, Theta, Chi O and KD did really well too! Those 4 have been improving slowly each year

thoughts - before commenting on another girl's reading comprehension, please consider proofreading your future posts to prevents run-on sentences. Another APhi Public Relations major?

I have to say I've heard all the houses did well some more than others simply because expectations were higher or lower than expected. The rumor mill has it that KD, XO, AXO did really well and ADPI had their best recruitment and return rates in like 10 years or some such, I really think Tech is showing some serious strength in our Greek system, congrats ladies.

Don't get this. My two friends & i suicided to not get AdiPi bid.Nice girls, but would rather have seen what AZD had to offer. Luckily we ended up at 2 different so called "mid/lower" houses with awesome real girls. Luckily I didn't see this "OFFICIAL" ranking before hand. Official bahahahaha!!

Big Winners:
KD- They made quota, got everyone they wanted and is quickly becoming the home for the solid looking, level headed, suburban girl, def. moving way up.
PiPhi- Everyone wants them, even when they say they don't. They got their list and return rates were always topped out.
Winners:
Tri-Delt- Got the girls they wanted, as usual, but may have lost some ground to KD in that they may soon be competing for the same girls
APHI- I know "Get off here APHI your a troll," blah, blah. The fact is they made quota, got all the girls they wanted and had a good rush, love em or hate em they did well and got the girls they targeted with high return rates.
Theta- Having to rush from a tent didn't help but they again had solid return rates, and had many wishing for that bid day card after pref night, solid showing.
ADPI- Love em or hate them they had a good rush, a bus full of girls that weren't crying getting off the bus and quite a few that were cute is def. a big step up for this chapter
AXO- Another solid rush, had great returns and much positive tent talk, continuing to improve.
Losers:
Kappa- I don't know what's happening here, long time staple at the top, recently things have slid down hill. Rumor is they didn't make quota, even after snap bidding several; the reasons for the free fall but relying on past success plays a big part
ChiO- Also didn't make quota, or so it's rumored and had to resort to snap bids. Bad rush is rumored to be an issue here, whether or not (cont.)

DG- It's been said they had no cuts, they may have made quota but took about everyone that came through in order to make it. I'll admit that rushing with PIKE wasn't optimal and may of hurt but I feel less numbers but better quality would have been a better strategy, I guess time will tell

ADPI wins cause girls weren't crying off the bus? ( you were watching girls get off the bus?What??)What kind of back handed compliment is that? Zeta not mentioned? I'm sure you will say they had a bad rush. Kappa is not on the downward slide. Tri-delt competing wth KD? I dont think they need to compete with anyone.. CHI-O had a great rush! And DG makes quota & that's negative? (Everyone else who makes quota is a win?) There are flaws to your opinion, in my opinion.

Kappa has dropped way down, houses like theta and chio did really well, and KD is no competitor for houses like tri delt zeta and pi phi. KD is still lower tier they got the leftovers

Actually, KD did not get the leftovers. They had one of the highest return rates and were able to be selective and got the girls they wanted. They also got a few girls who chose them over DDD. They've definitely improved and moved up. So they did good during rush, so get your facts right. But yes Chi O and Theta did very well also! They were able to recruit a lot of girls as well. They also had high return rates and were able to be selective! These three have definitely improved and are middle tier.
And I also with Kappa not doing well. They did not make quota and gave out snap bids. They have been slowly declining each year. Definitely no longer top tier. And same for Zeta. They were able to get some cute girls but overall, had really poor return rates. Many girls chose other houses over them- Chi O, AXO Theta, KD, etc.

I don't know why we are all so quick to throw other houses under the bus. This year, we had one of the BEST recruitments in the country with overall very high return rates and quotas. I will agree that some houses did better than usual but every house still did very well! We should all be congratulating each other and taking notes for next year.

Stop acting like Aphi is top tier. They are not in the same group as PiPhi, TriDelt and Kappa. Rush is over and you can stop this silliness now until next fall. In the meantime, use the time you waste on here to study a textbook and bring up your grades.
