too old to rush?

I'll be transferring to Tech as a late sophomore and I'll be 21 in the spring, is that too old or too weird to rush? Would I be less likely to get a bid?

You won't get into a "top house" (unlinkely) but you could try the new Alpha Xi Delta or anyone who spring rushes. Have a good GPA and letters of recommendation to help you :)

I would really give the new sorority a try. Having older members to start would be a real plus for them and you could be a founding member of a new tradition. It will give you more chances for leadership too. I think you may have a hard time with traditional rush.

Plenty of houses take older girls. Not all of them, but enough to give it a try. AXiD is also a good idea.
