Do you have to be from the south to get a bid from a sorority? Fell in love with the school, but I know rush in the south is much more competitive than other parts of the country!

You're fine! Soooo many factors play a role before location does. However, all the girls who have connections have a huge leg up already. I wouldn't say it would hurt you at all, however it certainly won't help you. I would rather take a well rounded northern girl than a local girl with a low GPA and off-putting personality. You'll be just fine, good luck!!
