grades

I'm a sophomore with quite a few good friends in tri delt and a letter of recommendation. My roommate is also a tri delt. The only problem is I have a 2.75 freshman gpa (science major) but a 3.65 high school gpa. What are my chances?

Go through rush and find out. Honestly, it's a week away and there's nothing you can do at this point except be awesome at the parties. Good luck! P.S. - You can still be friends with those tri delt girls even if you end up in a different chapter.

Oh of course! I love them! I just didn't know what my chances were with that gpa. I heard the cut is usually 2.75 with tri delt

Ladies, the best advice we can give you is to get off this site until after recruitment. Not everything being posted is accurate. Don't worry about ranks. I've never seen a more balanced group of sororities than at Tech. If you take away the letters, you would not be able to tell the girls apart. The odds are very good that will end up in a house. But you WILL be cut from some, so treat all of them like your favorites. And know that the bid you receive will be from girls who truly WANT you as their sister. It's going to be OK!
