pnm's don't choose
by: TTU17So funny all the talk on here like PNM's get to choose which house they get a bid from! You don't get to choose, the houses vote on you. No vote no bid! Don't go through rush with the attitude that you only want a certain house because of what you read here, your friend said, your cousin said etc. TTU has a strong Greek system. If you are fortunate enough to get a bid, be grateful and enjoy the ride!

This is true. Greek life in southern universities is very popular and competitive. If you don't have perfect grades and resume, impeccable speaking skills, standout looks/wardrobe or current sisters going to bat for you...it's a crapshoot and you need to be open to ALL chapters. Even if you do consider yourself the "Perfect PNM", I can assure you there are 200 other girls just as perfect. Most of the girls who don't make it through recruitment are those who drop out on their own. Don't let the butthurt control you and force you to miss out on Greek life. Don't be stupid!
