one month until recruitment

You're in the homestretch until rush starts. Here's some advice.

1. Get off this site. It's mostly freshmen and frat boys trolling. Not accurate information at all. It's the final leftovers of high school.

2. Have your outfits in order. Put your shoes and accessories for each outfit in plastic bags and then loop over the hangers. Put them in order in your closet so you can grab and go each day. Less stress for you.

3. Don't show your party list to other girls (unless a very close friend). Keep cool and just go to your parties. Some girls will have chapters they don't want, some will have less than a full amount. Do not compare your experience in each house as far as where you sat or how many times you were bumped. Just avoid drama. If you need to talk to someone, choose your rho gamma or text your mom.

4. On bid day, if you do NOT get the house you want...please, please, please still go to it. Give it a chance. Try to get to know the girls and to see the positives. Don't be mopey or whiny. You can pull out any time before initiation and try again, but 95% of the time girls will be perfectly happy where they end up. The only people who care about "rankings" are the freshmen. Older girls are too busy with parties and studying to bother with getting on here.
