Open letter to sorority women and PNM's planning on going through fall recruitment. This site is NOT an accurate place to go to find out information on sororities. People who are catty, insecure, and negative often leave reviews on sororities that are rude, mean, and often very inaccurate. It is not really possible for anyone outside of a sorority to rate the experience that one has in their own house. Please take each and every review you read on this site with a grain of salt. And for PNM's going through please know this: sororities at Tech are all absolutely wonderful, and all have their strengths and weaknesses. While people say some are better than others, that shouldn't matter in your choice during recruitment. Go with the girls YOU connect with and who YOU want to be your sisters. You have to go through recruitment with an open mind, willing to go wherever the experience takes you. You may not get your first choice, but everyone ends up where they are supposed to be. Being a member of a sorority is SO much more than rankings, tiers, and how other people perceive them. Go with your gut, and be positive and polite about all the other sororities. It is better to promote sorority life as a whole, than to be negative to try to make your sorority "look better". Thank you.
