Honestly, I wouldn't listen to a guy's opinion on which sorority to rush. You should choose a sorority based off where YOU feel you would belong. Because honestly, going into rush with that mindset, you will probably minimize your options. And who knows, you could be cut by the "top" sororities you just named. Joining a sorority is about finding your home and being apart of a sisterhood, not about gaining approval from guys.

Don't listen to your brother. And I mean, don't listen to his opinions on the chapters and don't listen to any advise he gives you on how to go through rush. The frat boys DO NOT KNOW. Also, don't take advise from this site. Just don't. If you don't know any current sorority girls, ask the ladies in your local panhellenic, and worst case google the site greek chat. Get your recs in order for all chapters and go through rush with an open mind. Unless you're a legacy with a 4.0 GPA, stellar extracurriculars and a killer presentation...you're in a crapshoot with everyone else. You don't really get to pick. The chapters do. I hope you get your head straight before rush or there might be tears.

pnms, as many have warned you before, get off of this stupid website. How can you seriously say that a sorority is the absolute worst? Are you saying that because a girl is in a certain sorority, she's less of a person? ALL of the sororities at Tech are amazing and you shouldnt be so close minded. Decide which house you want to be in based on what feels like home. You never know, those "bottom" houses could really surprise you.
