PLEASE do not let this stupid website influence you and your friends decision to rush! hardly any of this crap people write on sororities pages is true. majority of it is false, and girls just want to see their house ranked number one on a website! rush week is stressful and very overwhelming, but it is so worth it in the long run! i believe it would be a mistake to not go greek because of rumors you read on this site!

Some these comments are catty and rude and I promise not all greek girls are like what these people are saying. There are ALWAYS going to different personalities in every single house, so you just have to find the house that you fit in best. Good luck!

pledge a house that makes you feel at home, and you will be happy! this website is a completely inaccurate view of Greek life.
as for the Greek women posting the nasty comments -- look at what you're doing! discouraging people from rushing! stop being so catty and start promoting Greek life like we are supposed to!

Honestly, no Greek girls are this rude in real life. Or most of them arent. You can tell during rush which girls are fake and which girls are genuine. A lot of the stuff on this website is ridiculous, but as long as you remember that there is a lot of useful information on here. If people post the same thing about a sorority over and over, it's probably based in truth. You can avoid being stuck in a group where you don't fit in or having to change who you are to fit in with others. I know that this website would have been useful to me if it had been around when I rushed. To the PNM who posted, sorry you feel that way and can't use this website in a positive way. I'm sure that at least 800 other girls will go through rush and you won't be missed, but if you do decide to go through remember you won't get anywhere with a negative attitude.

Is it common or uncommon for sophomores to rush? I'm a freshman this year and I'm thinking about rushing next year but I don't want to be the only sophomore rushing.

It's not that uncommon for sophomores to rush! However, it will bit a little bit more difficult for you. Chapters will be more hard on what your grades in college are and what activities you were involved in your freshman year. It might also be discouraging because many chapters are only looking for girls who are able to be a part of the chapter for 4 years. But you should definitely give it a shot and see if it's for you!

I am attending Tech in the fall and plan to rush. I was surprised when I came on here and saw Alpha Phi so low because I had heard they were pretty good. Not the very top, but good. I am a legacy so I wanted to check it out. I was surprised and pleased when I looked at their page. It is obvious that they have been told not to post on here and they don't! No posts-except one-since February. That impressed me. I don't know which house I will end up in but they all seem to have great qualitites. I just liked APhis lack of comments on here.

Does anyone know anything about the Miller Girls? And how they "rush" or what they do to "rush"

If you have not realized it yet - this site is ridiculous. Do NOT base which sorority is good/bad from the comments on this site. Most greek groups at other college campuses are not using this site anymore because of the negative comments and the embarrasment it brings to its University. When you go thru rush pick a sorority that fits YOU not because it's "top" tier. You will find to be in a happier place because of it. Besides - who freaking cares if it's top, middle or lower tier. Having a great college experience is what it's about. If it concerns you too much about being in the "top" tier...then maybe sorority isn't for you.
