transferring to tech in spring/ sorority status?

by: transfer

I am a sophomore at my current uni and have already been initiated into my sorority. I want to transfer to tech because they do more stuff and are more active. If I transfer, will I be automatically accepted? I'm seriously so worried that I wont

not necessarily but I think it depends on the chapter. In mine we are not required to let transfers affiliate. If for some reason the chapter felt it wasn't a good fit and you didn't get to affiliate you would not lose your membership with nationals though. I think you would go on early alum status possibly?

Um, did you read the post? She said she wants to do more active things with her sorority WHILE in college. So going alumni wouldn't cut it.

Why would you assume they didn’t read the post? If the chapter doesn’t vote to let her affiliate, she won’t get to “more active things in college” and depending on the org might have to go early alum to retain her national membership. It’s important to make sure she understands the reality of what could happen and not just what she wants to hear.

If your grades are good I think any of them would take you.
