blacks in ifc

I am an African American Male with a 3.89 GPA. I am currently looking to join the greek life here at Texas Tech, but I have faced a few obstacles in regards to the color of my skin. Being that I am an ex-athlete and I won Prom king in HS, Id think that someone excepting me for who I am wouldn't be so hard. My question is what am I missing to join fraternities like PIKE, FIJI, etc? Is it because my parents don't make six figures?

Not true it's because fraternities were founded on white people why would we mess up the tradition. No white guy wants to join an all black fraternity so why do you want to join an all white?

Nobody that's white wants to join all black fraternity why would one black want to hang around all white guys? Just doesn't make any sense

I don't care if you feel like your more white I don't want one black person in my all white fraternity.
