classification
by: PnmDo sororities base your classification upon your high school graduation date or when you are graduating from tech? I don't have very many units but I am classified an upperclassmen based on my high school graduation date. I still have four years left at tech does this effect my chances of receiving a bid this fall?

It's based on the year you graduate from Tech. Not when you graduated from high school or how many credits you have. If you graduated in 2012 but took two years off before starting college, you're not gonna be considered a junior when when you get here. If you have senior level credits, but aren't gonna graduate until 2016, then you're a junior still. Basically they want to know how long you're gonna be in the sorority. If you rush in 2014 and are graduating in 2015, they're not going to want you as much as someone who isn't graduating until 2018.
