spring rush
by: Spring15I am going to be transferring to Texas Tech next spring and I was wondering about spring rush. I'll be classified as a junior based on # of hours completed, but classified as a sophomore because I will be there for 3 years (not all of my hours go toward my degree plan). I have a high GPA (3.7) and I'm pretty involved. I do not know any sorority girls at Tech. Do I have a chance of getting a bid during spring rush? Thanks in advance!

I went through fall recruitment in my third year with a lower GPA than that. And I love where I'm at. Just follow your heart and if it doesn't work out in the spring, I think you can still go through recruitment in the fall. You meet more girls during the fall recruitment than spring, so you get a better idea of each sorority. However, fall is waaaay more stressful than spring. But yes, you def still have a chance
