How selective is each sorority?

Here’s a GENERAL consensus on the most to least selective sororities (top being most, bottom being least). Keep in mind that if a sorority is not as selective, it doesn’t make them bad! Also the ones grouped together aren’t in order

1. Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi, Aphi, Tri Delt, Chi O

2. Zeta, Axo, Dg

3. Axid

5. Kd, Adpi

AXO has retention issues.
Idk why, but they seem to struggle keeping members.
The instability of having a house also keeps them low. I know no one lives in the house etc, but as far as having roots here, they just don’t.
For these reasons I think they are ranked where they should be.

When my friends and I rushed, those “most selective” houses are so good at making you feel like you’re “in” and the most special girl in the world, and then will cut you the next day.

Agree! Top houses are like used car salesmen. They need pnm’s to rank them high (it’s all about return rates- lots of math going on behind the scenes) then they have a bigger pool to choose from. Pnm’s keep this in mind so you aren’t crushed when you get dropped. By this time you have ranked so call mid houses low ( where you probably belong & would have loved) & they dropped you. This is how you end up with no bid or bid to a house you don’t want.

Pi Phi and Aphi did this to me like crazy. It felt like the biggest stab in the back when I got my schedule.

LMAO same. both of those houses dirty rush so hard. I know so many girls who were told that they were gonna come back by those two houses and then didn’t get invited back. Theta too.

XO should be with Axo and Dg and Tri Delt and APhi are a a separate tier from top 3

Honestly, I disagree. All 5 of those houses have a tendency to get high return rates due to dirty rushing and manipulating girls into loving them. They made me and so many girls in my rush group feel like we BELONGED there and that we’d be such a good addition, and then when we (or at least i) got my schedule back it literally broke my heart. Thankfully I ended up in a house where I’m SO happy in, so it worked out great:)

Everyone’s selective in their own way. They look for girls that fit their values.

Every sorority has value. Just because one is more selective than the other means nothing.

Every house cuts.
It’s all part of the algorithm of recruitment.
Some may have higher gpa cut offs, but they all cut.
