Texas Tech Sorority Rankings as of Fall 2021

Before rushing at Texas Tech I would always look at these Greek Ranks for reference, but after going through recruitment and meeting all of the houses I decided to make one of my own. I actually preffed with one of these “top houses” but did not end up choosing them because I saw myself somewhere else - so please only think for yourself during recruitment and not about ranks!!

Kappa:
Very Pretty girls, care a lot about grades. Most are partiers. Some could say they have a “rich girl” stigma. Sisterhood could improve. Always in top house slots because they have been for years and frats love them. I’ve seen them usually doing things with Delt.
Pi Phi:
Very pretty girls. This is usually top house, but PC ‘21 was very inconsistent as to their usual “blonde and skinny” looks so Kappa took their spot this year. Pretty solid sisterhood. Most are partiers, very strict about grades, and frats love them.
Theta:
Top 3 mainly for grades. Sweet, pretty, and wholesome girls. Definitely big on grades, but not really partiers. They always stick together, very solid sisterhood.
A Phi:
Known as party girls - can have fun without being too crazy. Very pretty girls. I’ve heard some can be fake towards other sororities behind the scenes. Not strict on grades, always stick together, very solid sisterhood and frats love them. I’ve seen them usually doing things with Pike.
Tri Delt:
Pretty girls, a little more laid back than others with personalities. Most tri delts probably also preffed with ChiO or Theta. Very sweet girls, pretty strict on grades but not too bad. I’ve seen quite a few Tri Delts at parties. A little inconsistent with their girls they recruit but solid sisterhood.
Chi O:
Diverse group of girls personality-wise. Most are pretty laid back. Not strict with grades. You may love one ChiO but not click with another. Most girls are pretty. Decently solid sisterhood.
Zeta:
Used to be known as hardcore partiers but that has died down… although so has their rep for some reason. They used to be higher on the list a few years ago but have slowly dropped. Most girls are very sweet. Not strict on grades at all. Again, solid place.
DG:
Used to be one of the very bottom houses but have made their way up and I was debating whether or not to put them above Zeta, honestly they probably should be. They got a really good PC this year, very pretty girls and all very sweet and welcoming. Solid sisterhood and very good place to be.
A Chi O:
Pretty sweet group of girls, not strict on grades. Not really known for their looks but they’re very reserved. Not really seen at parties.
KD:
Honestly, pretty much the same description as AChiO. They should be on the same tier.
AXiD:
Most girls in here are sweet, but honestly kind of judgy with no reason to be. Solid sisterhood, not really big partiers and not strict on grades. This is usually the house people pick on pref day over ADPi.
ADPi:
Usually bottom house, nothing bad against them but they’ve been stuck on the bottom forever. This is usually the house people pick if they don’t get the houses they want back and don’t want to drop. But very solid sisterhood, I’ve never met anyone in ADPi who wasn’t sweet.

Summary:
If you like going out and having a little more fun, PiPhi, Kappa, APhi, Zeta, and TriDelt are probably your best bets. If you are a little more reserved and don’t like going out every night, Theta, ChiO, Dg, and the rest are probably the places for you. Best of luck class of 26!
