gpa and sophomore

first off, a 3.0 is a GOOD gpa.. don't know why you said only. The average gpa for most things on campus, including admission into the school as a transfer is only 2.25-2.5

Your gpa is fine.

It's not harder. They're going to treat sophomores and juniors the same as freshman. And you don't need recs from someone in each house. Get good recs, but they don't necessarily have to be from a member of every single house on campus. Most girls going through rush don't know anyone in any of the houses or only know one or two.

They also take into account that you're a transfer so its your first semester at tech, which basically puts you on the level as a transfer

Who I know, as a transfer sophmore with a 3.0, you will not have many choices but all the groups are strong here so thats not a big deal. Recs dont matter too much
