Legacy question

by:

I’m a multi generation legacy to ADpi and will be going through recruitment this fall. They are shown in the rankings as a top house, which I know it is at a lot of campuses, but I’ve read they only made quota one time in recent years. Are they super selective? Are legacies a guarantee or can you still get cut?

They are not considered a top or mid level house at tech, but I know some cool girls there.
You are correct, last fall was the first time the met quota in years ( they usually only made close to half of quota)
I was a legacy at a house & ended up there, but there are a lot of people who don’ t end up in their legacy house cause it wasn’t a good fit. (Houses cut legacies all the time)
Just keep an open mind, and remember even though you are ranking houses everyday, the houses ultimately choose you not the other way around.

Being a legacy doesn’t guarantee you a bid anywhere and all houses cut some legacies. All houses are strong here so you will be happy no matter where you end up.

i’m being completely blunt with u, ADPI is the bottom house. don’t look at the rankings listed under sororities, look at all the discussion ranks. i go to tech and i cut ADPI the first round of recruitment and i do not regret it. if you want a good social life, rush literally anywhere else. all frats are embarrassed to be associated with them and avoid inviting them to anything. no hate just honest with you. don’t go adpi, u will see for yourself during recruitment

nationally adpi has an auto accept legacy thing so they'll say whatever is necessary to keep you there but I do not recommend adpi at tech at all. like above frats are embarrassed by them and will avoid them at all costs and the reputation that comes with being an adpi is so sad. do not go adpi and spend your money elsewhere

Do not listen to greek rank and definitely form your own opinion during recruitment. You will be able to tell which houses you like or do not during the week. There is nothing wrong with adpi it's somewhat a trend to bash them IMO.
