Going to be a freshman next year, what are some good frats to get into? and how hard is it to get into a good one?

God, all this "top tier" stuff is just ridiculous. It shouldn't matter who's at the top, it should matter when you get in there and if you could see those guys as your brothers or not. If you want a top tier frat that most people look on as hot deuchebags and tools, then fine, go SAE, FIJI, etc. But if you want something more than that, I like Kappa Sig, ATO, and Phi Psi guys. They're all really nice, but also throw great parties, and are the kinds of guys that I wouldn't be afraid to bring home to meet my parents, but also know how to have fun.

i semi agree with this. Look for a few fraternities that you fit in with, then start to look at who is going to be in your pledge class. Your pledge semester is going to be the best/worst semester of your life and the guys you spend it with are going to be the guys that burry you one day. the bond thats created is life long.

fiji, phi delt, delt, sae, and kappa sig is what you should aim for

contact any actives you know and tell them you are interested in rush. most fraternities will start facebook groups with rush details next semester
