GPA/Grades when rushing

I am rushing at texas tech this fall but have a unweighted 3.0 gpa, I took a lot of ap classes which brought my gpa down. I am scared all the houses will drop me because of this but I am focused on raising it my freshman year. I really want to rush into a good house but with virtual orientation I'm scared sororities will drop me without getting to know me because of my highschool unweighted gpa.

I had a 3.2 gpa and got into a great sorority. Some houses will cut solely on gpa which I think is STUPID because while you could have done poorly in high school you might kill it in college. I held a 4.0 gpa the whole year as a pre med student.

i’m also scared of this. i was not ready for a sorority or college in general so my gpa is not the best. but this past semester i did really well in the spring so i hope they see that

You will end up where you are supposed to be. I got cut by all of the "top" houses for grades and I ended up in the house and sisterhood of my dreams. Trust the process.
