Do y'all think it's even worth it to rush next year because of how competitive it will be? Like what are the chances of not getting a bid at all?

I think it will be less competitive
I would be surprised if numbers are any where near where they usually are.
I bet all houses do spring recruitment though, so do whatever you feel is best for you
