POLL: How important are looks for sorority PNMs?

Good-looking girls get you invited to parties. Rarely have I seen them not get the bid they want.

Unfortunately, Tech in general value looks. I invited a hot girl from my class to come to our frat party and she brought some of her friends. My frat bros thought that the girls she came with were barely decent-looking. I had to tell her that the party was actually exclusive and invite-only so she told her friends and they left.

Looks in general matter, no matter how “PC” our world is becoming. We might not say it out loud because we get labeled as “shallow” or something like that, but the fact is looks matter due to our innate primal instinct of finding the “perfect partner”. If you don’t value looks as much as others, then good on you. Some people like smart people, others like kind people.

With that being said, Some sororities prioritize looks heavily than other attributes. If you don’t have what they’re looking for, don’t sweat it out. Eventually you will find your people that will accept you as who you are. Don’t force yourself to be liked by others. Also don’t pretend to join something you’re not. Use your time wisely because 4 years may seem like forever, but I promise you it goes by really fast.
