"Top" 8 is top 8, but sh.it can change. ATO has a lot of guys, but i think they are starting to get a bad reputation. They were on a big rise last semester. I think that Delta Sig is on its way up fast and could/ should be top if it had more parties to get its name out there. I got love for Kappa sig, but i dont understand why they are top when all they do is party and you dont hear much else from them.

Is that if you want people to look at your shirt and say "damn, hes a ____" then go "top 8" and dont even consider any other house, they have good parties but not much else. You shouldnt pick your fraternity based on who parties the hardest, you should go with who you fit in with. A rule of thumb is that during rush, look around at the brothers and the guys who got bids and think "can i picture these guys being my circle of friends for the next 4 years and my brothers for life".

exactly! If you want to walk around campus in your letters and get that reaction you must stick to the top 8. The top 8 isn't changing anytime soon and those fraternities will continue to have the most guys, best parties, be best at sports, and get the best looking girls. Rushess if you want that college experience stick to the best.

Is ATO going to be punished for the kid at orientation? Just curious. If so, how badly do you think they will be punished?

thats not at all what happened. i'm an incoming freshman and i was there. the way they handled it wasd waaayy sketch and they used him for entertainment.

Then you need to call IFC and give them your statement. It is up to you because the entire greek system is being affected by their actions and we should not be punished for their idiocy.

I figured it was nothing to bad, but if they were using him for entertainment that is unacceptable. If you were there, and it was more than just some kid getting drunk, go to IFC.

im not an ATO but im guessing that kid below is full of it. I know several of those guys and they wouldnt do that for entertainment. the kid probably got drunk and made an ass of himself
