fraternity comments

is it true farmhouse cant have alcohol at parties?

i thought being in a fraternity was about brotherhood and bettering yourself as a man, and not about ranking eachother on who can get the most people naked/wasted in a formal setting. boy! was i wrong :/

that is the point of it. hahaha but regardless of that fact, another point of fraternities are whether or not they are able to adequately socialize and create lasting impression. and due to our human nature, fraternities and sororities will always be ranked, especially in our hierarchical society

Rushee: FarmHouse can have alcohol at their parties now. Like many of the other fraternities our house is dry but we have alcohol at our parties because we don't party at the lodge.

No one has in house lodging, tech and Lubbock do not allow it. GPA for the big fraternities is all fairly close and it varies by hundredths of points so not enough to make a difference. As far as parties go it is what has been said by other guys on here recently... Their are 6 fraternities that have good parties that have lots of girls come around... Fiji, Phi Delt, Delt, SAE, ATO, Sig Ep. All of them have lots of fun and you will have a good time in any of them. If you dont like those houses the next little group is KA, Kappa Sig, Sigma Nu, Delta Chi, and Delta Sig. Again though if your looking for the biggest chapters in terms of numbers and reputation with parties stick to the top 6.

anyone got a list of which houses are "wet" and which are "dry?"

Any frats against chubby fish or nerds?

Do frats at tech do initiation and hazing? One of my coworkers goes to tech and gave a horror story of his initiation that involved passing out cause of heat at night in a basement every day for a week. Does this really happen?

I know ka, sigma mu, and delta sig have wet lodges but idk about the rest I don't think fijis lodge is wet
