fraternity comments

There is a lot more to being in a fraternity than drinking. The biggest thing is networking. The second you join, you had at LEAST 80 brothers at your disposal for the future. Most brothers are willing to help with whatever you may need. But that not it, you also meet many sorority gilrs, and get networking witht hem as well through mixers and social events. On top of that, you learn about business structure and what it take for an organization to run. Also, you are given academic standards that need to be met. There is an endless list of benefits from going greek. The most important one in my opinion is that a fraternity truly transforms you from a kid to a man, you learn more about manners, being a gentleman, social situations and just being mature in every situation

Other advantages include: on average higher GPAs, Always having people there for you, the ones you here all the time like connections are true, also the greek system participates in various philanthropic events and these kind of things are great if you are looking to build a good resume. The reason for the partying is also because they want to get your interest in the fraternity as quickly as possible, just consider they offer alot more than just that.

actually no, im in one of the 8 you listed. A senior might I add, and i can tell you straight up that KA and Kappa Sig arent and shouldnt be that list of 8.

Fine if you dont want to include KA and Kappa Sig it really doesnt bother me I just think they are better than sigma nu delta chi etc...

How is KA and KappaSig better then Sigma Nu when they had the highest grades and won chapter of the year? You sir have a big misunderstanding about greek life.

I completely agree, it is funny how superficial people are and judge people based on what they hear and not what actually is accomplished.

honestly for fraternities, I feel it really matters on how big and fun the events they throw are when figuring out what their rank is. This why a fraternity like delta sig or delta chi are not top because they do nothing socially. for KA Kappa Sig and Sigma Nu, we all know they do hardly anything, but when you look at what they do do, you can see that KA and Kappa Sig are way better than sigma nu

KA, Kappa Sig, and Sigma Nu are the bottom of the ladder as far as fraternities that matter are concerned... All 3 of them are chasing the big 6. Phi Delt, SAE, Delt, ATO, Fiji, Sig Ep are the best fraternities at Tech. You cant argue with that list.

yeah I totally agree. they all have the best social events. that pretty much was the point of my statement...fraternities are mostly judged by their social calendar and whether it meets/exceeds expectations

ATO is not one the top fraternities, they are a joke.
