I dont think they bid everyone like everyone seems to make it seem. Yes 3 or 4 years ago when they came back on campus they bid any and everyone to get their numbers up. But now I would bet they have some standard as to whom they would bid.

hahah no no. No way. I and all my friends went through receuitment, and we never went back to this house after the first day and we all got bids. Haha wtf.

A bid does not equate to membership into a fraternity. Bid someone, take their money, cut them if they're a douche. More pledges = More money = Larger operating budget for the semester...and cut the Geeds along the way. A fraternity is a business as much as it is a brotherhood.

Your a middle/bottom tier GDI. Top fraternities definitely have brotherhood, hence the selection process during rush. Ability to attract the best rushees = larger number of quality pledges = lota of quality actives = larger budget = bigger events and more popularity among rushees and girls. The best get better while the others get the leftovers, that's how it will always be
