spring rush

I am transferring from another school out of Texas to TxTech in the spring, and I was wondering what sororities participate in Spring rush? I have a very good Gpa and I am still considered a freshman because I have only been at my current school a semester,I am also very attractive. I had some serious family situations back in high school and I had no other option but to get my GED, but I have really good scores, as well as act/sat scores, and current GPA at my current college, will I still be considered with a GED? Also are recommendation letters required?? I don't know anyone in Texas to get them from!
